Journey With Christ is designed for young adults that are 15 to 25 years old. These ages are separated into two groups; a Flight (for ages 15-18) and the Journey (for ages 18-25). Both of these are 72 hour spiritual renewal retreats designed to give participants an opportunity to deepen their faith and experience the love of Christ.

A Journey With Christ follows the growth stages that change a caterpillar into a butterfly. This model is used to symbolize a Christian’s growth from dying to self to rising with Christ. Candidates begin their weekend as a caterpillar and through a series of events become a butterfly.

The Purpose of The Journey with Christ

Journey With Christ is for the development of youth who:

Wish to gain a fuller understanding of God’s love,
Wish to strengthen their relationship with Christ,
May have unanswered questions about what it means to be a Christian,
Understand that being a child of God, or a Christian, involves responsibility;
And are open to dedicating their everyday lives to God.
