  • Meet the needs of the community
  • Live out Scripture

The idea is simple. Assemble as many churches as possible and light up (Matthew 5:16) the Tri-City community with as many good works as possible in a concentrated period of time. Don't preach. Prove! Serve! Give! Love! Put flesh on the Word of God. Make it tangible, observable, and undeniable.

In Step

 

Acts 1:8 ‘But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.’

 ‘Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep In Step with the Spirit (Galatians 5:25)

 Here at Central Church we are on mission to leave Christ’s footprints through our lives as we keep In Step with Him. 

 The Tri-Cities is our Jerusalem.  It is one of the places where we carry out our church’s mission of   ‘Showing Christ’s love and sharing His story’. 

 As we reach out into our community, we touch lives and leave His footprints of love and care and of support and encouragement where we serve.  We bring the Good News of Jesus Christ and leave the imprint of His presence through our presence, actions and words.

Our Faith Promise money provides help with the financial needs of the various organizations and our volunteer hours supply support and encouragement to keep programs and projects alive and growing.

 In Step sheets are available on each mission opportunity that has been identified at this point in time.  We are adding new mission projects as we become aware of them. 

Criteria for inclusion are:

  • Fits Central’s mission and vision
  • Has opportunity for ‘hands-on’ volunteer participation
  • Identifies a Central member actively involved as contact
  • Not simply a fund-raising activity
  • Is not a commercial or for-profit entity

World Releif: Mentors for refugee families, household items for incoming families.  (sheets, blankets, towels, kitchen equipment, etc.)
