Join us for a week long celebration where we meet with missionaries and challenge Central to have a vision when spreading the Gospel of Christ that ranges from around the corner to around the globe. As believers we have a global mission field, from our own neighborhood to the "uttermost part of the earth", and this is the time where we can get to know missionaries serving locally, nationally, and internationally. We will learn more about where and how they serve, and most importantly, find out how we can be personally involved in the lives and work missionaries.
February 24-28, 2010
(Wednesday, February 24) An "All Church" sandwiches, chips and beverages meal for you and your family transitions into an upbeat and exciting time with a flag processional and kick-off service, with John Martyn, Pastor of Goddard UMC.
(Friday, February 26)The banquet is for the entire church and features international food and decorations. Special music transitions into a forum where missionaries respond to questions about their ministry and life.
These provide several opportunities for Central Church to meet with the missionaries in a smaller, more personal setting with an extended time so you can learn more about them and their challenges.
(Sunday, February 28)The Reverand Frank Decker will be preaching at both the 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. services, with all missionaries participating.
(Sunday, March 7) Reverend David Parker will be preaching this uplifting, special service concluding our five-day event. All the missionaries will be participating and praying with us.
Children of the World Concert at 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary.
