WisdomHeirs Potluck Luncheon
Second Monday of Each Month at 11:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall
The Central WisdomHeirs' Potluck is for all "Young at Heart" who enoy fellowship, entertainment, great food and educational opportunities. Each luncheon features special music, devotions and a presenter who focuses on a topical subject of interest. In the past, the luncheons have cover topics such as Reducing Your Risk of Fraud, Spring Gardening, Creating a Family Tree, and Creating a Will.
Next Luncheon: March 8th; Topic: "Birding" in Costa Rica Tom and Barbara Clark, members of the local Audubon Society, will be discussing birding in Costa Rica and will present pictures of some of the birds they saw on their trip!
Guardian Angel Ministries
On the first Sunday of each month we provide a service for the residents of Guardian Angel Assisted Living Center. At each service, residents gather for a fun time singing and hearing God’s Word..
Wisdomheirs Callers
We have WisdomHeir Care Callers who call seniors on a monthly basis. They provide care and prayer along with the details about luncheons and other activities that may be of interest.
Christ's Hands
This hands on ministry assists with minor problems and repairs for some home projects and the church building. This talented team meets on Tuesday morning.
AARP Safe Drivers Course
The AARP Driver Safety Program is the nation’s first and largest classroom refresher for motorists aged 50 and older. Its key objective is to help individuals retain their driving competencies and, by extending their driving privileges to the possible.
Scoutabouts
Many seniors at Central Church love to go on the Central Scoutabouts trips around the Northwest. Trips have included operas in Spokane, Mariners baseball games in Seattle, plays in Portland and a Columbia George Tour, etc.
Life Groups
Central offers many Life Groups which are made up of seniors and others that are multi-generational. For a current listing of Life Groups, contact Connie Larson at ext. 103 or Pastor Sharyn Withers at ext.104.
Men’s Breakfast
Thursday Breakfast & Bible Study
Men’s Thursday Breakfast consists of Bible Study, a great breakfast and good fellowship. We meet every Thursday 7:30-9:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. No reservations required. Cost is $3.00. The Bible Study consists of a verse-by-verse study with a voluntary discussion format. Come check us

Women’s Bible Studies
Tuesday Morning Study
The Tuesday Morning Women’s Bible Study meets at 10:00 a.m. each Tuesday from September to June. We begin with refreshments and sharing together and then enjoy a study of a book of the Bible led by Gerry McMurray. All women are welcome (though most are of retirement age.)
