The forces of the world are all trying to influence our actions. And it is our actions which speak volumes when compared to our words. Often times when it comes to living out our faith we waiver.
By meeting with other Christians (men, women, and children) we become like those that we associate with—Proverbs 27:17 “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another”. It is our hope that these men’s events will help us become aware of our deepest needs. God has created each man with a special purpose in mind and has given each of us special gifts to accomplish His plan. Our mission is to discover His purpose and experience it’s fulfillment in our lives.
Men's Advance
Any and all Men are invited to Camp Ghormley for the annual Men's Advance, a weekend of manly adventure and spiritual renewal, September 25-27th.

This team helps the church with light construction (painting, shelf-making, etc.). They also donate time to help with home repairs (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.) for those who cannot afford to pay a professional.

Walk with Christ
Walk with Christ is a powerful weekend retreat that takes the focus off of the ‘everyday’ life and channels us towards Christ-centeredness. Many men have had their lives changed because of this event.

All men are invited to help with Prison Ministries. Billy Tuttle leads a team that goes to Walla Walla State Penitentiary several times a year to minister and share the Gospel with prison inmates.

Men's Advance
Every fall, the men at Central Church travel to Camp Ghormley for a weekend of adventure and renewal of spirit. Each advance has a special guest and a focus topic. Each year a guest speaker will share his deep passion for an honest and genuine relationship with God, family, and friends. There is also plenty of time for hiking, skeet shooting, eating, napping, basketball and more!
